Yongnuo Speedlight 565EX Flash Sample Pictures with Nikon DSLR

I have recently bought a Yongnuo 565Ex speed light for my Nikon D5500 DSLR. So as  you everyone would do i made some research on the product and was impressed with it from the reviews. Though one thing that i was not ease with is that i din find any sample images, or image comparison over the net, and hence the cause for this post.

So today i have taken different shots with different options and here it goes.

All these shots were taken with my Nikon D5500 with a Nikon Lens 55 - 300 f/4.5-5.6 VR , and all of them were taken at day time around 10 am

Pop-up Flash vs No Flash

The pop up flash image looks too bright where as the no flash image looks underexposed.

Pop-up Flash vs YN 565EX

The pop up flash has given good light for the image, and since it is a black object it is not over exposed, but when compared to the soft light emitted by the Yongnuo flash, the pop up flash has less colors in it thus making Yongnuo to win.

There are options where you can turn the flash along vertical angles and horizontal angles. Here i have taken images with different angles

Vertical Angle 0 °
Yongnuo Speedlight 565EX Flash Sample Pictures with Nikon DSLR

So with the Vertical angle 0*, the 90* right side image looks the best, as i had a white wall on my right side while shooting these images which has reflected light very good. So incase of no natural reflector, the angle 60* left would be more appealing.

Vertical angle 45 °

The best image i would tell as 120* left side with inbuilt diffuser and reflector of yongnuo flash used. It is more appealing than others though all the images look good there is tiny bit of difference in each of them.

Vertical angle 90 °

At vertical angle 90* almost all the images look the same as the light spreads across the room in uniform direction just like when we swich on the tube lights

So after editing this is how the pics look like

Overall i m very much pleased with the performance of the Yongnuo565Ex for the price that we get.

9 Things to do at Pyrmont Bay, Sydney Australia

Sydney has become my second home town after my stay here close to 2 years. Though India ( Chennai ) is my birth place where i lived all 25yrs, there are so many places that i have not visited. All my days were gone with schooling, college, career, job, where weekends obviously flies in a wink of an eye with studies and sleep.

9 Things to do at Pyrmont Bay, Sydney Australia

Now i have so much time that i can dedicate my time to my passion of travel and photography. I have traveled to so many places in Sydney itself not limited to beaches, parks, bays, ferry, gardens. But what if i can do all these things in a single place?

So here are my 9  things that you can do in Pyrmont Bay, Sydney Australia.

1. The Star of the Show

For a fun ride you need not go to a theme park, or some exhibition.  The ferry wheel is available on the go in the bay of Pyrmont. For a 6$ ticket you will be eligible for roughly 6 rounds.

Once you are into the cage, u can never feel that u r into a ferry wheel. It just moves so smoothly up to a height of 42 metres. You can have a glimpse of the entire pyrmont bay, darling harbour, and the bay.

2. Chinese Garden of Friendship

Chinese garden of friendship is constructed in a way to depict Chinese culture and heritage. This can be seen as a fusion of greenery from the Auburn Botanical Gardens and the divinity from  the Nan Tien Temple

Walking through the garden is like walking backwards in time in Chinese monastery and architecture. I was completely drifted by its uniquely shaped rocks, tea house, pond, waterfall, colorful birds and reptiles and the hanging bamboo leaves

There is an entry fee here too. Just 6$ with no time limit. Love the gardens??  Check out more about it here.

3. Imax
Feeling bored walking? How about a 3D Movie in Imax??

4. Ferry Ride
Ferries are just a mode of transport.  Yet they are so fascinating every time i get into them. The blue sea, cool winds with little sprinkles of water blowing over your face and body makes you feel so freshened even on a bright sunny day.  You can take a ferry to taroonga zoo, darling harbour, milsons point, or even to your home at meadowbank and Paramatta along the paramatta river.

5. Star Casino

Spend a penny here and earn dollars if you are lucky.  Star Casino is just in a walkable distance from the Pyrmont Bay.

6. Sydney Heritage Fleet

Are you interested in knowing the architecture and build of the ships, and its histories? For a small fee you can visit inside multiple ships and get enthralled. The fleet operates a large number of historic ships and boats including submarines.

8. Grills and Coffees

One obvious thing about lazing around the bays is a coffee with some grilled croissants or a barbecue. The entire stretch of the bay has so many coffee shops and grilles  where you can vegetate.       Pyrmont Bay, Sydney

9. Walkway to Darling Harbour

Pyrmont is a walk friendly place. There is around a 2km stretch from pyrmont to darling harbour where you walk through the pyrmont bridge. I don think i walked so much anywhere else .  Its a pleasure to have a snack on hand chit chatting with your partner, gazing the city and walking hand in hand..
