Silver Beet / Swiss Chard Subzi for Hair Loss & Anaemia
I'm generally not a great fan of dry gravy's or subzi. But off late i got addicted to the taste of this silver beet as we call it in Australia. In other parts of the world people call it as swizz chard.
100gms of Silver beet contains 122% of Vitamin A, 9% Iron, Vitamin C 50%, Magnesium 20% . Magnesium can prevent from osteoporosis and help insomnia patients. Since this is rich in vitamin C and A along with Iron, It helps in absorption of iron into blood stream easily.

Step by Step Recipe :
Step 1: Add 2 tablespoon oil, mustard seeds, after it splutters, add urad dhal or black gram and fry till golden brown
Step 3: Now add in chopped silver beet leaves and cook it with lid closed for 10 to 15 mins in slow sim. Be careful not to burn. Mix in-between
Step 4: After the spinach is fully cooked, add in grated coconut, mix well and serve.
